We have lived in this home, in the valley, since 2012.  At that time, we were Saskatchewan residents & we bought this house as a holiday home, for our family.  However, we soon started spending the majority of our time in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.  We became permanent British Columbia residents in 2015.  Eventually, we were feeling nudged toward having a home, again, that was more ‘us.’  We laboured long & gave considerable deliberation to moving &/or building.  However, we came home one day, looked out over our expansive view & definitively decided to stay in our spectacular spot.  The rest is, as they say, history…In January of 2018, we completely moved out of our home, took the structure right back to the studs & began the two-year, extensive renovation project.  We hope you enjoy sharing in this adventure, through the posts, pictures & prose, of how our house in the valley became ‘Our Valley Home!’  In our home, we strive to cultivate a healthy, happy life but we are ever-prepared to embrace the inevitable storm.  It will be a pleasure sharing wee bits of all that makes ‘Our Valley Home’ come to life.  Welcome here!!  You Belong…
